So you want to create and sell an online course, but you’re not quite sure what you’re getting into. Well, you’re in the right spot. In this video, I’m going to share some pros & cons for starting and selling your own online course.
Over the past 2 years, I’ve sold over $2,000,000 in online courses teaching various things such as podcasting and affiliate marketing, and I’ve learned quite a bit along the way. The truth is, it’s not for everyone, so make sure you watch all the way through so that you can commit to create this income stream, or moving onto another one.
CONS:
#1 – 0:45 – Lots of time and effort
#2 – 1:46 – People buying and not finishing (i.e. completion rates)
#3 – 3:21 – Keeping the course relevant (over time)
PROS:
#1 – 4:35 – Gives you something to sell
#2 – 5:03 – Helps build authority
#3 – 5:35 – Serves a lot of people
#4 – 6:19 – Earn passive income
#5 – 6:32 – Earn affiliate income
#6 – 7:11 – Provide additional help
