Tristan Thompson says he does not want more children unless they come from embryos he created with Khloé Kardashian.
The NBA player made the comment during an appearance on Kardashian’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, where the former couple discussed his vasectomy, their remaining embryos, and where the decision stands now.
PEOPLE reported that Kardashian said Thompson got a vasectomy after what she described as a “little ultimatum” from her. Thompson said he had already signed off on two embryos and added, “No more kids, unless it’s coming from Khloé’s embryos.”
Thompson Said Kardashian Pushed the Vasectomy Decision
The conversation was blunt and awkward, which is why the clip traveled quickly. Kardashian asked Thompson whether he wanted more children in the future, and he pointed to the embryos they had already created together.
TMZ reported that Kardashian reminded Thompson he had signed the embryos over to her. She also noted that he had sperm saved, but Thompson said he did not expect to want more children unless they came from the embryos with Kardashian.
That part matters because Thompson’s comment was not a joint baby announcement. Kardashian made clear that she controls what happens with the embryos.
Kardashian Shut Down the Idea of Another Baby With Him
Thompson asked during the conversation whether they should have another baby. TMZ reported that Kardashian quickly shut down the idea.
The safer read is that Thompson expressed his own limit after the vasectomy, while Kardashian made clear she is not moving forward with that plan right now.
They Share True and Tatum
Kardashian and Thompson share daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 3. Tatum was born via surrogate in 2022 after the former couple had already been dealing with the fallout from Thompson fathering another child with Maralee Nichols.

Kardashian told him that children want honesty, and Thompson agreed. The exchange gave the episode more context because the frozen embryos are tied to a difficult history between the former couple.
Kardashian Has Considered Another Child Before
Kardashian has previously said on her podcast that she thought about having another child on her own using one of her remaining embryos. She has also said she was unsure whether she had the emotional energy for another baby after the difficult circumstances around Tatum’s surrogacy.
Thompson’s latest comment does not mean another baby is planned. Kardashian may have embryos remaining, and Thompson may say he would only consider more children through those embryos, but she made clear the decision is not his to make.
