Social Interaction – XIII

Social Interaction - XIII

Although they are both children, they live in a world apart.

Alex at right, lives with his family and has a well-structured mother who cares about the well-being of her children, even though she strives to make ends meet on a few dollars a day with four kids to raise.

Roney, at left, earns a lot more when he’s on the streets because money is one thing a street kid always seems to fix, even though it never goes a long way.
His family situation is one of utter destruction, with very little worth building a future on. His divorced mother is a heavy acoholic trying to raise her five kids alone. Her sixth child died of malnutrition. Roney’s father lets him use marajuana whenever he turns up at home because he himself does so, but warns his son of the dangers of Crack cocaine by telling him that he will kill him if he finds him using the stuff. Talk about double morality!!!
Roney uses Crack when he’s on the streets.

It is in deepest regret and sadness that I inform you of Roney’s cold-blooded murder on the early morning hours of January 15th. May he find peace wherever his journey has taken him…….

IMPORTANT NOTE:
On June 27th. we also lost our beloved Claudiney.
