The thought of this prime and lucrative site wasted on social housing in 50s-60s must still cause present day housing speculators/developers to wake up with a sweet dream (possibly wet with drooling) that the government has finally reached the decision to get rid of this great injustice and the site can now revert back to its proper use of providing new housing for God fearing bankers and other equally deserving residents who were brought into this world to enjoy acres of greenery in these royal surroundings.
