This basement area is a more relaxed social space with a variety of seating styles; some soft sofa style chairs and low tables and bench style PC tables with high stools along a wall. Strip lighting is used from the ceiling but spot lighting is also used along the walls. This more informal area of the library contains both bright and muted colours and contains areas for multiple uses.
