Savannah Guthrie is officially back on the “Today” show … after stepping away for two months amid her mother’s disappearance.
Savannah was back in the anchor chair Monday morning alongside Craig Melvin … wearing a bright yellow dress and a matching heart necklace.
She kicked things off by running through the morning’s top headlines … before turning to Craig with a smile and saying, “It is good to be home.”
Savannah made it clear she’s jumping right back in … adding, “Well, here we go, ready or not, let’s do the news,” before diving straight into the broadcast.
Fans poured outside Studio 1A … with many holding signs welcoming Savannah back — and it clearly meant a lot to her.
The return is a significant moment for the “Today” host … after her mother, Nancy, vanished Feb. 1, she spent time in Arizona with family focused on the search before recently heading back to NYC.
Prior to her return … she sat down with Hoda Kotb in a candid and personal interview, admitting it was hard to imagine returning to a show with such an upbeat tone — but said coming back is part of her “purpose.”

While Savannah kept it strictly professional Monday morning … she struck a far more emotional tone on Sunday, delivering a recorded Easter message to Good Shepherd New York’s digital service — admitting at times “life itself seems far harder than death.”
As for the search for Nancy … local authorities and the FBI have been working together to locate her, but so far, their leads haven’t led to any breakthroughs.
