I worked on the competition for this one.
the facades were insulated to modern standards and fitted with new, white concrete panels and new windows that, while respecting the geometry of the original architecture, still manage to add a little playful complexity. and also, significantly, giving people the opportunity to look along the facade of their house as opposed to merely looking out of it.
