Observing the Social Self

Observing the Social Self

Sometimes it’s hard for me to play roles when I keep observing a social situation from third person, knowing the difference between what I want to say and what they want to hear. It’s probably apparent to the one on the other side too, as they probably do it as well. That’s why I’m not truly frightened by mingling, but I do it with a sense of humor. I revel in the awkwardness that is conversation.

This was done with speedlight flash and a long exposure 🙂 The only enhancement was editing the lens marks (I need new lenses) and enhancing the contrast with the RGB curve.

What do you think about my cheesy "I’m interested in what you’re saying" expression?
