As Sunday night box office reports are coming in, it’s clear that pro-life film Unplanned exceeded apprehensions for its opening weekend. In information, it redoubled estimates.

And despite a near-total media blackout and being swiped with an R rating , not to mention an attempted Twitter sabotage, the film came in fifth overall.

Major systems like USA, the Hallmark Channel and a batch of others refused the independent film’s ads.
