Meghan Markle has offered the clearest look yet at what life actually looks like for her family after moving back to Britain.
The Duchess of Sussex shared a 35-second Instagram montage on Sept. 13 featuring Prince Harry, Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet and the family’s dogs as they settled into a much quieter rhythm in the English countryside.
The video moves through muddy walks, bike rides, a fireplace and a family fishing trip. It also includes a tiny moment that quickly drew attention: 7-year-old Archie can be heard running beside his younger sister and cheering, “Go! Go!” as she rides her bike.
The post comes a little more than two weeks after the Sussex family arrived back in Britain for an extended stay, with Archie and Lilibet beginning school there and Harry and Meghan establishing a private, non-royal home base while keeping their Montecito residence.
The Video Shows a Much Quieter Version of Their UK Life
Meghan chose family walks, wet boots, bicycles, dogs and a fishing boat for the first video she has shared since relocating to Britain. PEOPLE reported that the footage was filmed after the family’s Aug. 26 return and shows both children as well as their dogs, Pula and Mia.
What appear to be Lilibet’s feet are shown warming near a fireplace before Meghan, wearing wellington boots, splashes through a muddy puddle. Lilibet later rides a bicycle while Archie runs beside her, and Harry appears on a boat with both children as they fish together.
Archie’s Two-Word Cheer Became a Talking Point
One of the shortest clips generated some of the most immediate attention. As Lilibet rides her bicycle, Archie runs nearby and calls out, “Go! Go!” PEOPLE described his pronunciation as distinctly British and said he appeared to have picked up an accent resembling Harry’s.
The relocation was partly framed around giving Archie and Lilibet more direct experience of Britain. A source previously told PEOPLE that Harry wants his children “to understand the world he grew up in and where their family comes from,” while another said Meghan values their ability to experience both American and British life.
The Family Arrived on Aug. 26 and the Children Have Started School
Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lilibet arrived in Britain on Aug. 26 to begin what has consistently been described as an extended stay. ABC News reported their arrival that day as the beginning of the family’s move back after six years primarily based in the United States.
Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, have since started the new school year in Britain. PEOPLE reported that it is the first time either child has attended school in the U.K., although the family has kept both the school and the location of its new home private.
A source close to the couple said settling the children “has been, and remains, their focus,” adding that the family had a great deal to organize after moving halfway around the world.
The Sussexes are keeping their Montecito home, so the British move has not been presented as a complete severing of their American life. Their new residence is also private rather than a royal property.
Harry Has Already Started Working From Britain
The family montage follows the first public glimpse of Harry working since the move. On Sept. 4, he spent most of the day at Tower Bridge Studios in London on an undisclosed project.
PEOPLE reported that the private studio had been booked by an independent production company and that Harry was accompanied by a group during the closed-set session. Tower Bridge Studios later posted photographs of him signing its celebrity wall.
The studio is used for private audio and video production, and PEOPLE reported that Harry’s booking did not reveal whether he was recording an interview, podcast, television material or something else. Harry is also continuing his work with the Invictus Games, which will next be held in Birmingham in July 2027.
