In today’s post, I’ll be offering a review of iRazoo.

If you’ve ever looked into making money online before, you’ve probably heard about iRazoo.

It’s a reward website that pays you for doing simple tasks, like playing games and taking surveys. It’s like Swagbucks (review) really.

Below, I’ll cover how the site works, what rewards you can get, and why iRazoo may just not be worth your time anymore.

iRazoo is a reward website that gives you points for doing easy tasks. It claims to have paid its members more than $95,000,000 in cash.

The site is totally free to join. Simply head on over to iRazoo.com and sign up with your email address or Facebook. It’s pretty simple.

What’s good about the site is that you don’t have to be from the United States to join.

It accepts members from lots of different countries, like:

  • UK
  • Australia
  • Canada
  • France
  • Germany
  • New Zealand
  • China
  • Japan

There doesn’t seem to be an iRazoo app unfortunately. So you’ll need to use the website.

How iRazoo Works

Like with most reward sites, Irazoo gives you points when you complete simple tasks that you may already do online anyway. Once you’ve accumulated enough points, you’ll be able to redeem them for rewards.

Basically you get paid to surf the web as you normally do.

Let’s take a more in depth look at how it works.

Earn points

There are lots of ways to earn points on iRazoo. You’ll receive 100 free points just for signing up. Just enter your email address on the homepage to collect your points.

Once you’re a member of the site, there are lots of ways to earn money with iRazoo:

1. Download Apps

Get paid for downloading new apps. This is a pretty easy way to earn. The app inventory updates daily meaning there’s plenty to choose from. You’ll get points for each app you download.

2. Watch videos

With iRazoo TV, you get paid to watch TV online. You’ll earn points for each video that you watch. There are short films, new ads, app trailers, movie reviews, cooking tutorials and more to watch. In fact, there are more than 50 channels of content available.

Since the site’s video inventory is updated daily, there are plenty of opportunities to earn points.

3. Take surveys

Another way to earn with the site is through paid online surveys. You can share your opinion and earn points. You’ll earn points for each survey you complete. Surveys are available in lots of different subjects from sports to shopping.

Like with the videos and apps, the site’s survey inventory refreshes daily, so there are plenty of surveys to choose from.

4. Complete offers

Another way to earn with iRazoo is with offers. You’ll earn points for completing offers. Offers can include a variety of tasks and promotions from brands and companies, such as trying new services from Hulu or Gamefly, magazine registrations, new product trials and email submits.

You’ll get points for each offer you complete, and since the site’s offer inventory is updated daily, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to accumulate more points.

5. Play games

Play games and you’ll get points. This is a pretty fun way to make money. Get paid for playing solitaire, doing crossword puzzles, playing action games, and for playing many other games. There are more than 50 different games available.

Just choose a game and start playing to earn points. The longer you play the game, the more points you earn! The game inventory refreshes daily, like the other tasks on the site, so again there’s plenty of opportunities to earn points.

6. Complete daily goals

The iRazoo daily goals program allows you to earn bonus points for completing tasks and has a goal for every member, no matter what your activity level. So each day, you can earn up to thirty-five bonus points for completing all three levels of the daily goal. Members who can do that multiple times each month can unlock monthly bonuses.

7. Refer a Friend

The site has a referral program where you can refer a friend and they’ll earn an extra 500 points just for accepting your invitation. When the person you refer earns their first 1,000 points, you get a referral bonus of 100 to 500 points, depending on the country you live in.

8. Use promo codes

Promo codes are like coupons that earn you extra points once you have completed activities, like playing games and watching videos.

The site gives them out periodically on Facebook and weekly in its newsletter. Just type in the code into the iRazoo site before the code expires, and the free points will be added to your account. Just login to iRazoo, and under the “Redeem” header, click on the “Promo Codes” link to get started.

9. Search the internet

Finally, the site also pays you to use its search engine, iRazoo Search, to browse the internet. You’ll earn bonus points by searching the internet through iRazoo. It’s powered by Yahoo’s search algorithms.

You’ll earn 1 to 25 points for each search you make. Earnings are capped at 25 points a day.

Redeem your points

After completing activities, you can redeem your points for rewards. Let’s take a look at how it works.

How much are points worth on Irazoo?

3,000 iRazoo points is worth $5. So that means that one point is worth about $0.0016

You’ll need to have 3,000 points in your account to qualify for any $5 reward. Then you can choose your reward through the Reward Store menu.

Irazoo payment options

So what can you redeem your iRazoo points for? Well, there are two options:

  • Money to your PayPal account
  • Gift cards

There are gift cards available for many different retailers and brands, like:

  • Amazon
  • Best Buy
  • AMC Theatres
  • Xbox One
  • Target
  • GameStop
  • PlayStation
  • Walmart
  • Barnes & Noble

Do your points expire?

Points expire after 60 days of inactivity. So you’ll need to keep doing tasks on the site if you don’t want to lose your earnings, but don’t yet have enough points to cash-out.

Is iRazoo Legit or not?

Not any more it seems.

While once a popular reward site for making money online, iRazoo has very negative reviews nowadays and seems to have stopped paying out altogether.

I wouldn’t say it’s a scam but the site certainly has lost its legitimacy.

Let’s take a look at the site’s rating on sites like BBB and what the site’s users have to say about their experience with iRazoo.

Better Business Bureau (BBB)

iRazoo is NOT accredited by the BBB. There are no customer reviews on there either. But there were a few complaints.

Interestingly, the BBB states that iRazoo is believed to be out of business. This is due to the fact that mail sent to iRazoo was returned as “Undeliverable as Addressed.”

  • You can view the site’s BBB profile here.

Trustpilot

iRazoo has just two stars on Trustpilot, which is a “Poor” rating.

There are 142 customer reviews on there – not a ton of reviews compared to some other sites. But still it’s enough to give you a good judge of what users think of iRazoo.

iRazoo Reviews: What Users Have to Say

There were lots of negative reviews on Trustpilot.

Most customers complained that the site owes them money. And that even after getting in touch, they are still waiting to receive their income.

One user says:

  • “I can’t trust them anymore. I have been a member of iRazoo for over 7 years and had been paid in the past. I recommended the company to many people, but things have changed and they are no longer paying out.”

A common issue mentioned in reviews was that iRazoo says that a user needs to verify their account, so they send a postcard to their home. But lots of users said they didn’t receive this postcard or that even after verifying their address, they did not receive their income.

One user says:

  • “They owe me $30 in Amazon gift cards then tell me my points were declined! So I inquired why and was told it was a mistake and they will give my points back as “pending” until I verify my account with the postcard they will send to me. Well, 6 weeks later and the postcard hasn’t come nor will they respond to ANY email or Facebook message and I inquire every day! They haven’t even given me my points back as “pending” like promised 6 WEEKS ago! All I get from them is SILENCE! I just want my $30 in rewards that I earned!! Awful company!!!”

A couple of users even said that the site accused them of fraud or cheating, like this user:

  • “Where is my $$? I have been a long time member of irazoo. Never had an issue. But I’m in the same boat. Declined reward, accused of fraud. Did the post card thing last month. Still nothing. My points are still missing and says reward declined. I sent 3 messages and got no responses. Shame on you irazoo.”

So Should You Join iRazoo? (And some iRazoo Alternatives)

I would say a definitive no. You’d be hard-pressed to find a website that doesn’t have at least a few negative reviews. You can’t please everyone, right?

But when the overwhelming majority of reviews are bad that is a cause for concern.

With iRazoo it’s not small issues that can be overlooked, like a high payout threshold.

Not, it’s that the site just isn’t paying out.

This really isn’t good when the whole purpose of reward websites like iRazoo is to make money.

Why else use them?

So what can you do?

Fortunately, there are plenty of reward websites that do pay out.

Here are some I’d recommend as iRazoo alternatives:

So give those a try instead. Hopefully, this iRazoo review has helped you to decide whether to sign up for the site.

While iRazoo used to be good, it seems to have gone downhill majorly in the past year, so give it a miss, and try our alternatives instead.
