Looking into an Internet Marketing Bootcamp?
They’re good for what they are, for what they offer, but keep in mind:
1) They are really intense, throwing a lot of information & ideas at you in a relatively short period of time – typically a week or so.
2) If you don’t have a certain level of experience to begin with, you might find it hard to get your mind around everything they’re trying to teach you that day – let alone be able to use it all when you try doing the homework assignments that night.
3) They obviously don’t happen in a vacuum. Your regular, daily life goes on whether you’re in an intense bootcamp or not … and if/when things come up that you have to deal with, they’re at best distractions – at worst, they cause you to fall behind the bootcamp .. which keeps going on.
4) They can be very expensive .. ranging from a few $100s to a few $1,000s.
5) When they’re over, they’re over. You’re on your ow … just you & the cold reality of the Internet marketing world. No more training, no more support (if there even was much along the way). Where do you go for help? What do you do now?
Don’t get me wrong: if you’re ready for them, an Internet marketing bootcamp can be a good way to breakthrough to the next level in your internet marketing career.
And they’re not for everyone.
There is an alternative approach to the typical Internet marketing bootcamp model … a way that allows you to learn Internet marketing – at your own pace and with a lot more support – and still have a life!
It’s a ‘team’ approach to ‘group learning’ that involves a series of 30- to 60-minute “mini bootcamps” presented daily. If you can make it, great! If not, well, just watch the replay saved in the Archives for you to watch at your convenience.
It’s always a good idea to do the little project foir that day, but if you can’t, well, life goes on and you can do when/if you have time.
There’s a lot of interactive support, too, between a very active FB Group, twice-weekly online Q & A periods, Google Hangouts and supplemental support sessions, as well.
Oh, and it’s very affordable! There are several levels of training available to you, and when you’re ready to progress to the next, then you do so .. when you’re ready.
