Being that everyone is quarantine and staying in home in lockdown from the coronavirus and covid-19, in today’s episode we’ll be talking about 5 Ways to Make Money Online, with everyone trapped at home, unemployment rates, and the need for money becomes real, with all the stimulus package bill updates that are going on all over the news.
The typical 5 ways mentioned, which we’ll go into details about, including the career path and job’s typical pay rate, what’s involved, and general ideas how to get into it!
1) Becoming an Online Tutor
– Tutoring various subjects, even basic ones like elementary math and English, which almost everyone knows how to do
2) Writing
– Can work as a freelancer, writing even basic emails, blog posts, articles, resumes, cover letters, or descriptions for different websites
3) Transcribing
– Literally just taking audio and transferring them into written words
4) Translating
– Pretty much number 3, but if you’re able to know a foreign language, even better, especially if it’s in high demand like Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and French
5) Voiceover Work and Narrating
– If you’re able to reasonably talk, you can record become a voice artist and make a reasonable amount as a side hustle, recording text or narrating or playing roles for different people’s scripts.
– Note this one is relatively competitive, but still worth a try, if you think it’ll be something of interest
For specific jobs, check out the websites Fiverr, Upwork, Chegg, and Voice, the 1st 2 of which I highly recommend, being that I’ve used them both before!!
