How to Get Started with Free Autoresponders
There’s a lot to learn when you are a beginner to internet marketing. Once you’ve zoned in on what you’re selling and who you are selling it to, you need to get your web content in place and drive as much targeted traffic as possible to this content. And you need to make sure you are obtaining the contact information from the people who visit your pages so that you can keep in touch with them on a regular basis. The best way to do this is through an autoresponder. Paid autoresponders can cost anywhere from $9.00 to $25.00 per month. But when you’re just starting out, an extra expense is something that you don’t need. And that’s when free autoresponders come in handy.
One thing to keep in mind, though, if you decide to go with a free of charge autoresponder is that they will send ads to the people you have on your list. This is the way they make money even though you are not paying for their service.
Having said that, FreeAutoBot is one of the free autoresponders that doesn’t place any ads in your outgoing messages. This service makes money off of the ads on the main site and by sending advertising messages to registered users. FreeAutobot allows you to send out several followup messages at the intervals you specify.
SendFree is an autoresponder service with a unique twist. . .it doubles as an advertising exchange service. When you’ve signed up for a free account and set up your autoresponder service, the top of each of your automatic outgoing emails will include a short text advertisement. Half of these ads are promoting other members’ sites and half are reserved for SendFree’s paid advertisers. The nice thing about this is that your advertisement will also appear at the top of the messages sent out by other members so it’s a way to get more exposure.
GetResponse offers both paid and free service. The free service offers unlimited autoresponders, unlimited email length, automatic multiple messages and more. A short ad is included at the top of every message you send out. You can always upgrade to get rid of the ads and gain access to more sophisticated, advanced features.
Responders.net offers a free autoresponder and form for collecting contact information on your site. You can set up an information request form easily, and specify what message you would like to send automatically to the people who fill in the form.
Free autoresponders are a good option to consider when you are just getting started and trying to learn the ropes. It’s important to note that as your contact list continues to grow, you will eventually want to upgrade or switch to a paid account. This will give you the flexibility to do exactly what you want to do with your emails.
At this time, it appears like WordPress is the popular blogging platform available right currently. (from what I’ve browse) Is that what you’re using on your blog? Nice post, however, I was wondering if you may write a little further on this subject?
