Facebook and the people who use it are getting older. The demographic trends are unmistakable. Facebook is the third-oldest social platform, according to a report from analytics firm Pingdom last August. Only Yelp and LinkedIn had more older users. Once home solely to college kids, now less than 20 percent of Facebook users are 24 or younger. Meanwhile, the over-35 demographic accounts for more than 65 percent of the Facebook population.
