Hey guys! In this episode of Cooking with Carson #cookingwithcarson we are showing you how to make DIY Dollar Tree Bath Bombs! These are similar to the expensive bath bombs you can find at Lush, but Carson makes them for a fraction of the price using Dollar Tree supplies. How fun is this DIY for Halloween? We had so much fun making these. I think these would make great Christmas gifts, too. (Each bath bomb is less than $1!)
✨ Lush Dupe Bath Bomb Recipe:
Dollar Tree Molds and/or Dollar Tree Clear Christmas Ornaments
1/2 cup Dollar Tree Epsom Salt
1 cup Baking Soda
*1/2 cup Citric Acid (you can find at Walmart in the Ball canning section or here http://amzn.to/2yhXRXo )
2-3 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. water
Dollar Tree food coloring
15 drops essential oil (only optional, especially if you have scented Epsom salt)
Mix dry ingredients until well incorporated. Mix wet ingredients and SLOWLY add to dry ingredients. Press firmly and compactly into molds and let dry over night.
*Note: If you don’t have Citric Acid or want this to be a 100% Dollar Tree DIY, you can add 1/4 cup cream of tartar and 1/2 cup cornstarch in place of the citric acid. However, these will NOT have the same bath bomb fizz!
