Cervezas Estrella de Levante – advertising calendar, 1966 – calendario de la publicidad, 1966
A fine little card-sized calendar for 1966 issued by the makers of "Estrella de Levante" beer in Spain. The company was then only three years old, founded in 1963, and they’re still brewing. She looks very glam hanging off what looks like a Spanish version of a BMC truck – which is what it is. Built in Valladolid by Sociedad Anónima de Vehículos Automoviles the dray is a SAVA-Austin, one of various models of vans and light trucks based on the British BMC, Austin and Morris models and constructed in the late-1950s and early ’60s in Spain.
