From November 1975, ‘Another Green World’ represents the bridge between Brian’s floor-breaking pop profession and his early experiments with ambient music. This time round he was ably assisted within the studio by Robert Fripp from King Crimson, Phil Collins and Percy Jones from Brand X and, on viola, The Velvet Underground’s John Cale. The album options H vocal and N instrumental songs together with the title monitor which might be recognized to many because the theme to the BBC arts programme, ‘Arena’.
This new gatefold 2LP vinyl version of ‘Another Green World’ is introduced over two 180GM discs which play at 45rpm for optimum sound high quality. High decision mastering from the most effective recognized sources and half-velocity slicing have been supervised by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. Each album accommodates an Obi, Download Voucher and Abbey Road Half Speed Master certificates.
