How does $200 for diary entries on a product sound to you?
This is what we are going to talk about today. There are companies willing to pay anywhere between $50-$300 for your diary entries on their products.
In this post we share two companies that offer you incentives for doing just that.
First, let’s take a look at what a diary study is…
These are longer research gigs that run a few days, where you log your behavior—apps you use, purchases, habits pr test products. They pay better because of the longer duration of the study. If you are interested in shorter and quicker options you can try unmoderated studies with Respondent and User Interviews.
Where to Begin?
You can sign up to both Respondent io and User Interviews to double you chances of opportunities. Once you have created an account, you can browse through the available studies and select the ones that suit you. Using the filters, you can narrow down your study options.
Once you have applied and have passed the screening you can begin the study.
With User Interviews, the studies involve completing a series of assignments or journaling opinions on product ideas, prototypes, or life experiences. This will be done in-person or remotely. According to their website, you can expect to earn between $55-$400.
With Respondent.io, their website states that the multi-day studies involve you documenting experiences, behaviors, or product usage over time. Time spent is often 10-20 minutes a day for 3-7 days, with incentives ranging from $100-$300 depending on study length and complexity.
How Do You Get Paid?
Payment is often via gift cards, but you have a vast variety to choose from. You also have the option to select a Virtual Visa card if you prefer. Payments are made to you on completing the task.
