Manon Bannerman is updating fans on her hiatus from Katseye — reportedly releasing a statement and updating her Instagram as the girls gear up to roll out a new single.
On Thursday, Katseye dropped the first teaser for their “Pinky Up” music video … their first release since Manon announced she was taking a break from the group.
Also on Thursday, Manon reportedly shared a statement to Weverse — a South Korean app where fans and artists can interact — where she thanked her followers for their “love and support,” writing … “I’m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time.”
She also wrote that she’s having “positive conversations” with HYBE x Geffen — which manages Katseye — and is feeling “supported.”

That statement reportedly continues … “I’m happy and I’m healthy. I’ll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.”
Meanwhile, multiple outlets are reporting that Manon’s removed “Katseye” from her IG bio … which now simply reads “mademoiselle manzanita.”
Just last month, Manon informed fans — dubbed EYEKONS — that she’d be taking a temporary leave to focus on her health and well-being.
And this week, Katseye has been teasing “Pinky Up” a ton … first sharing a cryptic clip depicting the Mona Lisa with long, colorful nails … sipping tea with her pinky up.
The next day, the girls announced the track’s title and release date — April 9 — and seemed to tease the album art with a pic of a girl kneeling on a carpet with a teacup and a cat figurine. The single’s title is displayed across the image in bright pink letters.
They also dropped a full schedule of the rollout … which is set to lead up to the group’s Coachella debut.
