Shepard Smith Inks Deal With CNBC For Evening News Show

Former Fox News anchor Shepard Smith ratified a deal with CNBC to host a one-hour primetime news show, the cable news business network announced on Wednesday.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the 56 -year-old anchor will be hosting a program named” The News With Shepard Smith” beginning in the autumn, which will air from 7 to 8 p. m. EST.

Smith had stirred headlines in the lead-up to his deviation for publicly wrangling with the network’s mind multitudes, such as Tucker Carlson, who took flak from Smith last-place September when he neglected to rebuke a client for criticizing a Fox News law analyst.
