Social fraternities and sororities are most well-known for the social events( hence the word) that they host on university campuses, such as parties and mixers( i.e ., gatherings wherein members of different brotherhoods/ sororities match ). However, what is less well-known is that many of these organizations are also actively involved in humanitarian efforts. Specifically, many of these organizations have been active in aid COVID-1 9 relief efforts. Here are five fraternities making a difference by using their social influence to impact the COVID-1 9 pandemic relief efforts.

Delta Sigma Phi Eta Beta stands on the mantra” Better souls. Better lives .” Due to this, their main strategy is to become the leading fraternal party in the U.S. by showing their unparalleled leadership knowledge. Recently, the organization has been drawing this commitment to life through its humanitarian action amid the COVID-1 9 pandemic. In June 2020, Delta Sigma Phi Eta Beta, at California State University San Bernardino, hosted a virtual fundraiser. The purpose of the occasion was to raise money to give nutrient for the Dignity Health Community Center. The arrangement was able to raise $ 1,000 and feed more than 160 people at the hospital. Beta Alpha Psi is a fraternity founded in 1919.
