The cover interview was published Oct. 21.<\/p>\n<p>The 22-year-old said she began working full-time at 15 but did not start learning about or participating in major financial decisions until around 21. She now oversees her own finances.<\/p>\n<p>Her parents and older sister, Dixie, were closely involved in the entertainment business that grew around her TikTok career. All four appeared in Hulu\u2019s <em>The D\u2019Amelio Show<\/em>, which aired three seasons from 2021 through 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Asked about her relationship with Dixie, 25, Charli said she would always love her sister while acknowledging that they were working through difficulties. Her father disputed the claims publicly and in a response to PEOPLE. Marc also alleged that people around Charli were manipulating her, while saying he loved his daughter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/2026\/06\/01\/charli-damelios-dad-responds-to-family-feud-rumors-says-shes-being-manipulated\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Just Jared<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>By June 4, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/charli-damelio-cuts-ties-from-family-company-amid-rumored-rift-11990857\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PEOPLE<\/a> had confirmed that Charli was no longer involved in Be Happy Snacks, the family\u2019s popcorn brand. Marc and Heidi remained part of the business. That report established her departure without specifying when it took effect.<\/p>\n<p>The brand launched at Walmart in October 2023 under D\u2019Amelio Foods, part of the family\u2019s broader consumer-products company. The family\u2019s role centers on marketing the products.<\/p>\n<p>Charli had made a pointed joke about her earlier merchandise during the Sept. 5 episode of Quenlin Blackwell\u2019s <em>Feeding Starving Celebrities<\/em>.
