LONDON — At least 600,000 people were without power early Wednesday in Ukraine, after Russia launched an aerial attack that struck energy infrastructure, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n

“A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure — the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President,” the Ukrainian president said<\/a> on social media.<\/p>\n

The outages on Wednesday may spread farther, the president said, as there is “significant” damage to at least 26 power facilities and four others in the gas and oil sector.<\/p>\n
