Deputies were told the person had been sick and was not feeling well, and TMZ reports that officers made contact with her, she said she was OK and the call was ultimately cleared without a formal crime report.<\/p>\n<p>Seven days later, Panettiere was found unresponsive at a residence where she was temporarily staying in Greenville, South Carolina. The 36-year-old\u2019s death has since been ruled an accident caused by the toxic effects of fentanyl and several other drugs, while investigators continue examining the circumstances surrounding how she obtained the substances involved.<\/p>\n<h2>The Aug. 9 Call Report Says She Was Not Answering Her Phone<\/h2>\n<p>The newly obtained sheriff\u2019s record describes the reason for the welfare check narrowly. According to Us Weekly, the caller was concerned that an unidentified woman at the West Hollywood address was \u201cnot answering the phone,\u201d and deputies were dispatched to the property at approximately 10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>When they arrived, the record says they were told the person had been sick throughout the day and did not feel well. TMZ\u2019s law-enforcement sources said deputies spoke with her and that she indicated she was OK despite feeling ill.<\/p>\n<p>TMZ described the outcome as a \u201clog clearance,\u201d meaning the deputies documented the response but closed the call because they did not identify a crime requiring a formal incident report.<\/p>\n<p>Us also quoted an unnamed source saying Panettiere had become unresponsive to multiple people in her circle, but that detail comes from the source, not the redacted sheriff\u2019s record itself.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Panettiere Was Found Unresponsive in South Carolina Seven Days Later<\/h2>\n<p><noscript><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Hayden Panettiere Suffered Apparent Overdose, Cardiac Arrest | E!
