He wore a charcoal gray Saint Laurent suit with a silky blue shirt, while Linda joined him in a sparkling gold gown.<\/p>\n<p>Storrie was also there as a nominee. His February 28 hosting appearance on <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em> earned him his first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.<\/p>\n<p>His blond curls were already gone before the ceremony. Storrie is an ambassador for the fashion house.<\/p>\n<p>Linda has already come up in interviews about her son\u2019s rapid rise. Hudson Williams made a surprise appearance during the episode, and members of the U.S. men\u2019s and women\u2019s hockey teams joined Storrie during his opening monologue.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.televisionacademy.com\/bios\/connor-storrie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Television Academy<\/a> nominated Storrie for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for the hosting performance. It remains his only Emmy nomination to date.<\/p>\n<p>He competed against Michael J. Fox and Brett Goldstein for <em>Shrinking<\/em>, Hamish Linklater for <em>Widow\u2019s Bay<\/em>, Christopher McDonald for <em>Hacks<\/em> and Rob Reiner for <em>The Bear<\/em>. Reiner won the award posthumously for playing Albert Schnurr in the <em>Bear<\/em> episode \u201cTonnato.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Storrie previously called hosting <em>SNL<\/em> a \u201cpinch me\u201d moment and said the show had been a formative part of his childhood. He said being recognized by the Television Academy for hosting felt \u201cincredibly surreal.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>The Buzzcut First Appeared While Season Two Was Filming<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wealthofgeeks.com\/connor-storrie-shaves-off-his-signature-curls-as-heated-rivalry-season-2-gets-underway\/\">Storrie\u2019s shorter hair first surfaced publicly on August 23<\/a> when he was photographed having lunch in Toronto with <em>Heated Rivalry<\/em> costar Christina Chang. The following day, photographers caught him on the season two set in Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p>Storrie had talked about cutting his curls months earlier. During a Teen Vogue video with Williams, he said he was ready to shave his head and wanted someone to hire him for a role requiring a dramatic haircut. He repeated the idea while getting ready for a Saint Laurent show with Vogue in January.<\/p>\n<p>No one involved with <em>Heated Rivalry<\/em> has said the haircut was required for Ilya Rozanov.
