The White House has released a memo detailing the results of President Donald Trump’s\u00a0recent physical exam<\/a>, with the president’s physician writing that Trump is in “excellent health.”\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the memo released by the White House, U.S. Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, physician to the president, wrote: “President Donald Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Trump visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last summer, Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after appearing with swollen ankles and legs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The physician’s report said “slight lower leg swelling was noted, with improvement from last year.”<\/p>\n

The physician noted that the president experiences bruising on his hands, which the White House has attributed to shaking hands while taking aspirin for his condition.<\/p>\n
