New York City police shot an apparently emotionally disturbed woman after she allegedly stabbed two people in Times Square, police said.<\/p>\n

The victims and suspect went to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.<\/p>\n

The stabbings occurred at 42nd<\/sup>\u00a0Street and Seventh Avenue. The woman allegedly then fled north toward the NYPD substation, where police confronted her, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Police officials stressed the woman appears emotionally disturbed and the incident is\u00a0not\u00a0terror-related.<\/p>\n
