Jail records cited by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/08\/30\/keenan-allen-arrested\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TMZ Sports<\/a> listed two misdemeanor allegations.<\/p>\n<p>One entry involved operating while intoxicated while endangering another person. The other involved operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration of at least 0.08. Allen was arrested at approximately 1 a.m. and taken to the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center.<\/p>\n<p>The arrest came less than 24 hours after Allen played in Indianapolis\u2019 preseason finale against the Detroit Lions. He joined Indianapolis late in the preseason and had missed most of training camp, but asked head coach Shane Steichen for a chance to play against Detroit.<\/p>\n<p>On Indianapolis\u2019 second offensive play, Anthony Richardson Sr. found Allen for a 24-yard gain. Allen played two more snaps before leaving after the opening drive, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colts.com\/news\/keenan-allen-deforest-buckner-sauce-gardner-get-in-and-out-of-colts-preseason-finale-with-important-plays-ahead-of-2026-regular-season\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Colts\u2019 game recap<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was good,\u201d Allen said after the game. \u201cGet out there, get your feet wet, play against some competition other than your defense and just get back in the groove of things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Allen also said he wanted to feel game speed again and make sure his body was ready after limited practice time.<\/p>\n<h2>The Colts Signed Allen Less Than Two Weeks Ago<\/h2>\n<p>Indianapolis added Allen on August 19 as a veteran option for its receiving corps. The Colts\u2019 official recap noted that he entered the preseason finale with 1,055 career receptions across 171 regular-season games.<\/p>\n<p>The Colts acknowledged Sunday\u2019s arrest but did not announce any discipline.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night,\u201d the team said in a statement reported by NBC Sports. \u201cWe are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Allen\u2019s status with the team remained unchanged publicly as the first reports emerged.
