Close was wearing a colorful Madras shirt that belonged to her late mother, Bettine Moore Close, as she watched the sun go down and let the wind move through her white hair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel blessed,\u201d Close said before signing off. Bettine died peacefully in her sleep on Feb. 23, 2015, at age 90.<\/p>\n<p>Close also made sure another family member received a mention. \u201cAnd Pip is right behind me,\u201d she wrote in the video\u2019s caption, referring to her Havanese, whom she regularly brings to public appearances. Pip joined Close at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on May 1 when she placed her handprints and footprints in cement during the TCM Classic Film Festival.<\/p>\n<h2>Fans Responded to Her White Hair and Natural Look<\/h2>\n<p>The video\u2019s stripped-down appearance drew attention from followers who are more accustomed to seeing Close styled for premieres, awards ceremonies and character roles. The Daily Beast\u2019s Looker highlighted the makeup-free appearance and reported that several commenters specifically praised her white hair and the sentimental choice to wear her mother\u2019s shirt.<\/p>\n<p>One follower quoted by the outlet said she had lost her own mother the previous day and that Close\u2019s post made her want to wear one of her mother\u2019s shirts. Her Magnolia Network series <em>The Mountain Kitchen<\/em> was filmed around the family\u2019s Montana ranch and featured Close in several episodes, including one in which mother and daughter prepared a birthday celebration together.<\/p>\n<p>Close has continued moving between that quieter home life and production.
