Sandra Bullock says there was no hiding the reality of Bryan Randall’s ALS from her children once his condition began changing daily life inside their home.<\/p>\n
The 62-year-old actress discussed son Louis, 16, and daughter Laila, 12, during the August 24 episode of SmartLess<\/em><\/a>, saying both were \u201ccompletely aware\u201d of what Randall was going through. As his illness progressed and he became bedridden, she said the physical and emotional changes surrounding his care were impossible for them not to notice.<\/p>\n Bullock did not expect the two children to cope in the same way.
