The WNBA has no plans to ban former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom<\/strong><\/a> from coming to games as a fan … even though he was ejected from a Chicago Sky game after a heated exchange with Natasha Cloud<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … the plan inside the league is to try and move on and let the controversy die. We’re told the league felt a ban wasn’t warranted because Enes didn’t set foot on the court and he didn’t do anything else that was egregious.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As TMZ reported … Natasha was livid with Enes — who was wearing a black shirt that read “woman\u00a0noun<\/em>\u00a0adult human female” — when they started jawing<\/strong><\/a> during the third quarter Sunday as he sat near the court.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Natasha had to be held back by several teammates … and Enes was egging her on for a spat.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

In the last few weeks, Enes has kicked up a lot of controversy by saying he now identifies as a woman and\u00a0declaring<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0himself eligible for the 2027 WNBA Draft.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Of course … this latest controversy is unfolding on the heels of Indiana Fever player\u00a0Sophie Cunningham<\/strong><\/a>, who said women should not have to face biological men in sports, calling it “common sense<\/strong><\/a>.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Those comments have created a firestorm in and around the league on both sides of the trans athlete debate.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
