Georgia\u2019s Ashley is Joan\u2019s younger daughter and joins her mother in the search for her missing sister.<\/p>\n<p>The casting gives Georgia an unusual first job, playing a daughter while working alongside her real-life mother. An unexpected storm leaves her stranded at sea, forcing her to battle the elements while Joan refuses to give up searching for her.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia\u2019s Ashley remains with Joan during the search, while Karl Walcott plays Luke, a local bartender who helps them. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/1282133\/eric-dane-daughter-georgia-rebecca-gayheart-movie-ocean-between-them-lifetime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TV Insider<\/a> reports that Gabriel Correa directed the movie from a screenplay by Sam Lee, Angela Gulner and Yuri Baranovsky. The movie premieres Saturday, September 26 at 8\/7c on Lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>For Gayheart, the project adds another thriller to a career that has included <em>Urban Legend<\/em>, <em>Jawbreaker<\/em> and <em>Scream 2<\/em>, as well as an appearance in <em>Once Upon a Time in Hollywood<\/em>. That movie is inspired by Tammy L. Kling\u2019s memoir <em>Exit Row<\/em> and follows the sole survivor of a plane crash as she fights to make her way through the Mexican jungle. <em>The Ocean Between Them<\/em> closes out the three-film lineup on September 26.<\/p>\n<h2>Georgia Is the Younger of Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart\u2019s Two Daughters<\/h2>\n<p>Georgia is the younger of Dane and Gayheart\u2019s two children. Their older daughter, Billie, is 16, while Georgia recently graduated from middle school before news of her acting debut became public.<\/p>\n<p>Gayheart and Dane married in 2004. She filed for divorce in 2018 after the couple separated, but in 2025 she moved to dismiss the divorce petition.<\/p>\n<p>Dane died on February 19 at age 53 following his battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS.
