The Israel Defense Forces said Wednesday that it will launch criminal investigations into two attacks on Palestinians during the war in Gaza.<\/p>\n

One of the attacks resulted in the killings of a 5-year-old girl, Hind Rajab, and her family in 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The second investigation surrounds the attack that led to the killing of 15 Palestinian paramedics in 2025.<\/p>\n

The IDF said in a statement that it “examines exceptional incidents that occurred during combat” as a part of its “obligations under international law and Israeli domestic law.”<\/p>\n

Since the Israel-Gaza war began in October 2023, the IDF says the Fact-Finding and Assessment Mechanism has completed reviews of about 150 incidents and transferred them to the Military Prosecution for examination. The Military Prosecution has made decisions in five incidents.<\/p>\n
