The\u00a0U.S. Coast Guard has seized the boat used by American couple Brian and Lynette Hooker<\/a> as the investigation continues into Lynette Hooker going overboard and vanishing in the Bahamas, according to sources familiar with the situation.<\/p>\n Their boat, called the “Soulmate,” has been docked in the Bahamas since Lynette Hooker disappeared on April 4.<\/a><\/p>\n It is not clear when the boat was seized, but it was prior to Monday, according to sources.<\/p>\n Brian and Lynette Hooker in a photo posted to their social media.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n the_sailing_hookers\/Instagram<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Brian Hooker told authorities that on the evening of April 4, after the couple departed Hope Town on their dinghy to head to their yacht, bad weather caused Lynette Hooker to fall off the dinghy and go overboard.<\/p>\n Brian Hooker was arrested on April 8 and questioned by police.
