President Donald Trump departed Ankara, Turkey, after a NATO summit last month on what he initially said<\/a> was the legacy plane used as Air Force One rather than the new jet gifted to him by Qatar.<\/p>\n But according to the Washington Post<\/a>, he wasn’t on either plane but rather another aircraft, having been whisked away from the old Air Force One in a catering truck amid threats against him from Iran.<\/p>\n ABC News has not confirmed the details of the report and the lengths that were taken to protect the president.<\/p>\n Protection of the president has often required deft and deceptive tactics by the Secret Service.\u00a0Those tactics have been employed for decades to maximize the “unknown” for the protection of the president, making it more difficult for an adversary to conduct an attack.
