She plans to pursue a master\u2019s degree in education at Harvard. She described graduate school as an opportunity to strengthen her voice and move closer to completing the books and educational projects she has been developing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour generosity has opened the door for me to continue my education, strengthen my voice as a writer and educator, and move closer to the forthcoming books and educational work I have been building,\u201d she wrote to Perry.<\/p>\n<p>Duberry\u2019s interest in writing was already visible at Tuskegee, where she served as an assistant editor for the third issue of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuskegeereview.com\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>The Tuskegee Review<\/em><\/a>, the university\u2019s online literary journal. \u201cYou are a true light in the Black community,\u201d she told Perry. \u201cI love you, and I am overwhelmed, humbled, and grateful beyond words.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>She Continued Thanking Perry After the Announcement<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF;
