Valerie Littlejohn confirmed Monday that an internal investigation was ongoing but would not say how many officers were placed on administrative leave or provide details of the accusations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">\u201cWe are aware of a reported pursuit involving some of our officers that included serious claims, which has since been determined to be false,\u201d Littlejohn said in a statement. \u201cWe take this situation seriously and are committed to ensuring a thorough review is conducted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The investigation followed published police radio audio from the night of April 1, reported by <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/kfor.com\/news\/local\/okc-police-investigating-fake-pursuit-officers-apparently-reported-to-dispatchers-as-april-fools-prank\/?ipid=promo-link-block1\">Oklahoma City television station KFOR<\/a> and other stations, in which a dispatcher says that the \u201ccity just advised that the suspect threw a baby out the window.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">\u201cThe police officer that\u2019s in pursuit does not have a radio.
