FBI agents spoke with the boat’s owner and preliminary information indicated that he reported the boat stolen from a dock at a Florida Keys marina and is not considered a suspect, according to a report from the Monroe County, Florida, Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said Wednesday<\/a> that he has directed the Office of Statewide Prosecution to launch an investigation and work with federal authorities to get to the bottom of what happened.<\/p>\n “The Cuban government cannot be trusted,” Uthmeier said.<\/p>\n The incident comes at a delicate time in U.S.-Cuba diplomatic relations.
