Eric Dane<\/strong><\/a>‘s fans and friends have reacted to his death with a massive outpouring of support in the form of thousands of dollars for his family.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

A GoFundMe set up to support his widow Rebecca Gayheart<\/strong><\/a> and their two daughters — Billie<\/strong> and Georgina<\/strong>, who are both teenagers — has raked in more than $200K at the time of publishing … and is continuing to climb.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

As you know … Dane passed away<\/strong><\/a> Thursday after a battle with ALS<\/strong><\/a>. In the aftermath of his death, donations to the ALS Association have skyrocketed<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

His wife<\/strong><\/a> and his girlfriend, as well as numerous celebrities<\/strong><\/a>, have posted heartfelt tributes<\/strong><\/a> in the star’s honor following his passing … and, he left behind a love letter to his family in the form of a Netflix special.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
