Kristy<\/a> and Desmond Scott built one of the internet\u2019s most-watched marriages. Now it\u2019s ending.<\/p>\nKristy Scott filed for divorce from Desmond Scott on December 30, 2025, in Harris County, Texas. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, she cited alleged infidelity that \u201ccompletely wiped out any reasonable chance of reconciliation.\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple, known online as \u201cThe Scotts,\u201d amassed over 16 million followers on TikTok, nearly 5 million YouTube subscribers, and millions more on Instagram by sharing family pranks, home renovations, and their day-to-day life with sons Vance and Westin. Desmond, a chef, was widely considered a \u201cgreen flag husband\u201d by fans.<\/p>\n
In August 2024, the couple threw a lavish 10th anniversary party at their Houston home. They spoke to People magazine about the milestone.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have been best friends since teenagers and that\u2019s never changed,\u201d they said at the time. \u201cWe focus on genuinely having fun, constantly laughing, keeping things light and spontaneous and finding humor in everyday life. 10 years flew by, we\u2019ve literally grown up together and navigated life together.\u201d<\/p>\n
On New Year\u2019s Day 2025, Desmond reportedly posted about his goals to be \u201cthe best husband and father.\u201d<\/p>\n
By the end of that year, Kristy had filed for divorce.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, Desmond addressed the split on his Instagram Stories. He apologized to Kristy, his family, and fans, but stopped short of confirming the infidelity allegations directly.<\/p>\n
\u201cToward the end of 2025, I wanted to separate, and I had conversations with Kristy regarding this,\u201d he wrote. \u201cDuring this period, I made choices that I am not proud of. I took responsibility for those actions, I shared this with her directly and personally, and ultimately we decided to divorce.\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple met at 14, married in 2014, and co-own Meant To Be Films<\/a>, a wedding videography company. Their last joint post came in early December, with Kristy modeling in a Labubu outfit while Desmond appeared in the background. It\u2019s unclear what happens to the business post-split.<\/p>\nOnline, the reaction has been swift \u2014 and conflicted.<\/p>\n
