Diddy<\/strong><\/a> has added a second Black attorney to his team of legal eagles \u2026 because he just hired Nicole Westmoreland<\/strong> to work with his seven other lawyers to try to get him acquitted at his federal trial in NYC.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Westmoreland will work alongside another Black attorney, Xavier Robert Donaldson<\/strong>, and Diddy\u2019s leading trial lawyers Marc Agnifilo<\/strong> and Teny Geragos<\/strong>, who are both white.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Having two African American lawyers on Diddy\u2019s legal team is an interesting move, considering that his camp pointed to race as a major factor in what they say is a federal takedown of a rich, successful Black man.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Diddy\u2019s other attorneys are Brian Steel<\/strong>, Alexandra Shapiro<\/strong>, Jason Driscoll<\/strong> and Anna Estevao<\/strong>. Heavy-hitter Mark Geragos<\/strong><\/a> is also set to play a major role in the rapper\u2019s legal case \u2026 and he\u2019s already been a contentious background factor<\/strong><\/a> in the proceedings on day one of jury selection yesterday.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
