Britney<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s little sister is slated to field ground balls and take hacks at the plate at the University of Louisiana Monroe \u2026 in an effort to help the school\u2019s softball team raise funds.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Jamie said in a statement she signed on for the event in part because of her daughter, Maddie<\/strong>, who\u2019s an up-and-coming star in the sport.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\u201cI\u2019m raising a young female athlete,\u201d she said, \u201cso I\u2019m honored to be asked to participate in an event to raise money for other female athletes.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The \u201cZoey 101\u201d star \u2014 who\u2019s most recently been in \u201cSweet Magnolias\u201d \u2014 told Extra Inning Softball<\/strong><\/a> she\u2019s taking things pretty seriously \u2026 training with Maddie so she can impress at the dish.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Maddie\u2019s a pretty good coach for JLS to learn from \u2026 take a look at one of her home runs that Jamie Lynn recently posted \u2014 she\u2019s got a swing!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
