Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>getting no love from the Country Music Association does not come as a huge shock to her father Mathew Knowles<\/strong><\/a> \u2026 and he thinks race is a factor here.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Bey\u2019s dad tells TMZ \u2026 he\u2019s not surprised his daughter received zero CMA nominations<\/strong><\/a> for her \u201cCowboy Carter\u201d country album, given her history with the awards show.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Mathew says Beyonc\u00e9 didn\u2019t have a good experience performing with the Dixie Chicks at the 2016 CMA Awards \u2014 her inclusion didn\u2019t go over so well \u2014 and he says the CMAs never apologized to Bey.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Beyonc\u00e9 has one of the biggest country albums of the year, but Mathew says the voters are \u201cshowing it still comes down to white and black.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n Mathew sees it like this \u2026 \u201cThere\u2019s more white people in America and unfortunately they don\u2019t vote based on ability and achievements, it\u2019s still sometimes a white and black thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s dad says he isn\u2019t calling the CMA voters racist, but he says her snub \u201cspeaks for itself.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
