5:45 PM PT<\/strong> \u2014 Kreshendo\u2019s singing a way different tune than Shaboozey<\/strong><\/a> when it comes to their deal, and it\u2019s now suing him \u2026 accusing him of fraud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the docs, the record label admits it agreed to let the singer out of his deal in 2019 \u2014 however, it says there were strings attached. Kreshendo claims his exit deal still allowed them to collect money on all his musical compositions, and they allege he knew damn well that was the arrangement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

They say Shaboozey is only acting like he didn\u2019t know, because \u201cBar Song\u201d became such a massive hit, and he doesn\u2019t want to share the wealth with his old label. So, now Kreshendo is suing him for more than $2 million.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Shaboozey ain\u2019t just getting tipsy these days \u2026 he\u2019s also making some sober legal decisions \u2014 suing his former record company in a bid to get back his songwriting rights.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The singer-songwriter filed a lawsuit against Kreshendo Entertainment, claiming they\u2019re making it impossible for him to regain publishing rights to his music \u2026 despite a provision in his contract which lays out a clear road map for doing so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In 2019, Shaboozey says he terminated his publishing agreement with Kreshendo \u2014 a company he\u2019d been with since 2016 \u2014 and he later personally took the company\u2019s place in a deal with music publisher Warner-Tamerlane.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

According to Shaboozey, there\u2019s a clause in the contract allowing him to pay off 110% of the unrecouped balance of prior advances to Warner in order to regain control of his publishing rights \u2026 which are way more lucrative since \u201cA Bar Song (Tipsy)\u201d blew up.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Shaboozey says he asked Warner-Tamerlane to tell him what he owes so he can officially get out of the deal \u2026 but, he claims they refuse to tell him \u2014 adding he thinks Kreshendo\u2019s asking the company not to share the info to keep Shaboozey in the deal.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The star\u2019s also suing Kreshendo for allegedly releasing several songs without prior consent from him after he terminated the contract back in 2019.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
