\u201cWhite Dudes for Harris\u201d has the ultimate \u201cDude\u201d onboard to support Kamala Harris<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 presidential campaign \u2014 yep, Jeff Bridges<\/strong><\/a> himself joined the hugely successful fundraising effort.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Alongside Jeff singing praises for the current veep \u2014 who could become the first female U.S. President \u2014 the 3-hour Zoom call had Josh Gad<\/strong><\/a>, Mark Ruffalo<\/strong><\/a> and Mark Hamill<\/strong><\/a> popping in, too \u2026 and eventually they had a total of 180,000 on the call.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Appropriately sounding every bit like his iconic character, \u201cThe Dude\u201d abided as Jeff gushed, \u201cI\u2019m white, I\u2019m a dude, and I\u2019m for Harris \u2014 a woman President, man \u2026 how exciting!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Hard to find a better poster child for an effort with \u201cWhite Dudes\u201d in the title \u2014 and, BTW, the call ended up raking in over $4 million for the campaign.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He also raved about Kamala\u2019s passion for women\u2019s rights, her strong stance on the environment, and her leadership in supporting kids \u2014 stuff he said he can totally get behind.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
