President Biden<\/strong><\/a> delayed dropping out of the race in part because of concerns over Vice President Kamala Harris<\/strong><\/a>‘ chances of beating Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> in November … at least according to a new report.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Biden and his senior advisors worried whether or not Kamala had the chops to take on Trump and win … and those concerns made POTUS hesitant to pull the plug on his reelection campaign.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Axios national political correspondent and friend of “TMZ Live” Alex Thompson <\/strong>cites three Biden aides in his report … and he says Biden’s “anxieties” are a reflection of a broader concern about Harris as the potential Democratic presidential nominee.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Kamala appears to have the inside track on the nomination, but it’s not official yet … and it will be interesting to see if Biden was right to allegedly have some reservations about her.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
