Cyndi Lauper<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s giving her review of Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s leadership skills \u2026 saying the former prez isn\u2019t a good boss \u2014 because he didn\u2019t stay loyal to his employees.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The singer-songwriter joined Christiane Amanpour<\/strong><\/a> on her CNN show and openly discussed her time working under DJT on the hit show \u201cCelebrity Apprentice\u201d during its ninth season in 2010.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n When asked about her time on the show, Lauper says she joined to start up the \u201cGive A Damn\u201d Campaign \u2026 raising money to highlight LGBTQ+ youths.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Cyndi says the whole point was to learn better leadership skills \u2026 a lesson that fell flat on her years later when Trump started to oppose the gay community openly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Lauper remembers Trump\u2019s show having a large number of LGBTQ+ staffers \u2026 and, she says Trump later turning on their community proves he wasn\u2019t such a great leader.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Trump fired Lauper from the show during week 9 of the competition \u2026 Poison singer Bret Michaels<\/strong><\/a> ended up winning the season a few weeks later.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Lauper caught some flak for doing the show at the time because of Trump\u2019s comments toward her pal Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/strong><\/a> \u2026 controversy she later addressed on \u201cEllen.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Lauper\u2019s vented this frustration with the former president before BTW \u2026 comparing him to Hitler back in 2016<\/strong><\/a> for turning on the gay community \u2014 so, this stance is pretty well-documented.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Sounds like Cyndi wants to fire Donald this time around \u2026 or, at least make sure he doesn\u2019t get hired for another term!<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n\n
