Michael J. Fox<\/strong><\/a> can still shred on the guitar \u2026 taking the stage alongside Chris Martin<\/strong><\/a> and Coldplay \u2014 and playing a mashup \u201cBack to the Future\u201d fans know so well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The actor took the stage at the Glastonbury Music Festival in England Saturday night during the band\u2019s headlining set \u2026 and, ya gotta watch the video \u2019cause it\u2019s a tear-jerking tribute to the film and TV legend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The vid kicks off with Chris and the crew jumping into their hit song \u201cFix You\u201d \u2014 Michael\u2019s already onstage, sitting in a wheelchair and holding a guitar on his lap.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n After a couple minutes, CM heads over to MJF and sings part of the song from his knees so the two are at the same eye level \u2026 you can see Michael\u2019s hands moving as he fingers and strums the instrument.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n It\u2019s during an interlude in the band\u2019s hit song where Martin really highlights Fox though \u2026 singing out the lyrics to Chuck Berry<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s \u201cJohnny B. Goode\u201d \u2014 the song sci-fi fans know Fox\u2019s Marty McFly played during the climax of \u2018BTTF.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Michael really comes alive at this part \u2026 rocking out from his chair and even throwing a kick out just like he did way back in the 1985 film.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n The real kicker \u2026 Martin credits \u201cBack to the Future\u201d for encouraging Coldplay to start their band \u2014 at which point the crowd breaks into raucous applause.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n As you know \u2026 Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s way back in the early \u201990s \u2014 and, he\u2019s mainly turned away from acting and toward activism in recent years as the disease has progressed. He gave fans an inside look at his life in his Emmy Award-winning 2023 documentary \u2018Still.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/section>\n That said, he\u2019s still made time to play with Coldplay over the years \u2026 and, he\u2019s clearly still got some music skills in his repertoire.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Certainly, a music moment that took the crowd back in time, Doc.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n\n
