<\/a>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\nThe iconic \u201cHome Alone\u201d house is up for sale, but it\u2019s coming along with a bit of controversy \u2014 \u2019cause despite realtors\u2019 claims, TMZ has learned the movie wasn\u2019t shot inside.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\nJulio Macat<\/strong> \u2014 cinematographer for the 1990 Christmas classic \u2014 tells TMZ \u2026 exterior shots for the movie were filmed at the home now on the market, but they never actually shot scenes inside the home.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<\/section>\n\nInstead, we\u2019re told the film was shot at the defunct New Trier Township High School in Chicago on massive sets.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

Check out the clip \u2026 it seems to make some pretty big claims.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\nThat said, the outside still looks exactly like it did in the flick \u2026 and, in many ways, it is the \u201cHome Alone\u201d house \u2014 despite perhaps not to the extent many may think. BTW \u2026 people online seem confused, with some also noting the movie wasn\u2019t actually shot inside while others are asking if they still have props from the film at the home.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
